Free Shipping On All Orders

Policies & FAQ

Free Shipping

Free shipping is available. Currently, if you purchase three, shipping is free, for standard ground within the continental United States. The policy is subject to change, but any modifications to the policy will be noted on the website and updated here. Alaska and Hawaii will incur a shipping charge on all orders. Any order with an address outside of the U.S. (International Orders) will incur shipping charges on all orders.

How long does it take to process and ship my order?

Orders placed by 11am EST, Mon - Thu typically ship within 24 hours, however in certain circumstances (high volume periods, observed holidays etc.) an order may take up to 48 hours to process. Orders placed on Friday’s will ship the following Monday, (even if an expedited shipping option is selected). If that Monday is an observed holiday, it will ship on Tuesday. You will receive an email notification once your order ships.

Returns

Due to the perishable nature of food products like coffee, we are unable to accept actual product returns. However, we do have a Satisfaction Guarantee and stand behind our products and want you to be happy with your selection, so don’t worry. If there was an error in your order, or you are dissatisfied, please contact us at info@meritagecoffee.com within 10 days of receiving your coffee to notify us of any concerns and we will work to get you back in a good place.

What is the status of my order?

Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email to track its status. Once your order is shipped, we will send you another email to confirm the expected delivery date as well as a link to track your order (when the delivery method allows it).

Missing or Damaged Items

We have seen delays from all carriers recently, so it is possible that an order may arrive later than expected. If your order has not arrived within 10 days of being shipped, please reach out to us and we will process a replacement order for you.

If an item arrives damaged, please let us know within 10 days of receiving your order. Including a photo of the damage in your communication is helpful to us so we can work with our shipper/packer to prevent future issues. We will process a replacement order for you.

Order Updates or Changes

Requests for changes to an order already placed are generally not possible; however, please reach out to us and we will make every effort to assist. Once an order status moves to “shipping” we are unable to make any changes.

Our SQF Level 3 Certified roasting plant is not open to the public. Safe Quality Food (SQF) Certification is the only certification recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and is the only program with a food-quality component added to its food-safety platform. Strick Covid-19 protocols remain in place in addition to the already stringent HACCP manufacturing practices required by SQF and quality monitoring systems.
