Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email to track its status. Once your order is shipped, we will send you another email to confirm the expected delivery date as well as a link to track your order (when the delivery method allows it).

We have seen delays from all carriers recently, so it is possible that an order may arrive later than expected. If your order has not arrived within 10 days of being shipped, please reach out to us and we will process a replacement order for you.

If an item arrives damaged, please let us know within 10 days of receiving your order. Including a photo of the damage in your communication is helpful to us so we can work with our shipper/packer to prevent future issues. We will process a replacement order for you.

Requests for changes to an order already placed are generally not possible; however, please reach out to us and we will make every effort to assist. Once an order status moves to “shipping” we are unable to make any changes.

Our SQF Level 3 Certified roasting plant is not open to the public. Safe Quality Food (SQF) Certification is the only certification recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and is the only program with a food-quality component added to its food-safety platform. Strick Covid-19 protocols remain in place in addition to the already stringent HACCP manufacturing practices required by SQF and quality monitoring systems.

Meritage Coffee & Tea LLC ("Meritage," "we," "us," "our") respects your right to privacy. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your use of the meritagecoffee.com web site ("Meritage Web Site") and/or your submission of any information to us indicates that you have read, understand and agree to our Privacy Policy.

We have detailed our Privacy Policy so that you know how we collect and protect the information you decide to provide us. This Privacy Policy will tell you:

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

As a visitor to the Meritage website, you can engage in many activities without providing any personal information, but please note that website usage information is automatically collected as defined in the Automatic Information section below. If you are using any account or e-commerce functionality, then when you order products or services we collect certain personal information from you for the purpose of conducting one or more transactions, and we may utilize that information as further set forth in this policy.

Depending upon your use of the website, some of the information that we ask you to provide will be mandatory and some will be voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.

We receive and may keep information you gave us because you decided to register on our website, because you used an existing account registration on our website or because you decided to fill out any other form or otherwise engage in one or more transactions on our website. • Your Meritage registration information
• Your organization/company/entity information
• Your billing/shipping address

• Specific content or product or services ordered
• Billing information such as the number, expiration date, card type, and billing address of your credit card or other payment information

Information may also include any other personal information or unique preference information you choose to provide us. Generally, we use the information you provide us to provide you with requested information, or, in some circumstances with products and/or services. Accordingly, your information may be used for such purposes including but not limited to the following:

• For service administration purposes, which means that we may contact you for reasons related to any service (e.g. to provide you with reminders or to notify you regarding a particular service).
• To contact you about a submission you have made to the Web Site, including any content you provide.
• To issue invoices, administer accounts, collect and process payments.
• Unless you expressly opt-out, to send you e-mails, e-newsletters, personalized offers or other communications about our products and services.
• To identify the number of visits (including via IP address logging) from different locations and also to block disruptive use.

We want you to be aware that certain tools exist to help us service and recognize you. For your convenience, to help us personalize your experience or better serve your needs, we may receive and store certain types of information when you visit one of our websites. You may be familiar with the term “cookies”, which are unique alphanumeric identifiers. These cookies are placed on your computer when your web browser accesses our websites. In addition to cookies, we may use log files, transparent images, and/or third party sources to collect information and analytics used to educate us on things such as how you navigate to and around our websites, product browsing, content accessing, and, if applicable, purchasing data. We may also use this information to send you more targeted marketing or promotional materials unless you have expressly opted out of such communication. If you choose, there are utilities available for purchase from independent software providers to install on your computer as well as tools/preferences you can choose through most web browsers to make website visits anonymous. Of course, cookies let you have a more satisfying website experience, so we recommend that you leave them turned on.

To protect children's personal information and to meet the standards of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The website and service is a general audience service for users 18 and older and is not geared toward children. If you are under the age of 18, you should not use this service or website and should not submit any personal information to us.

ONCE INFORMATION IS RECEIVED, HOW IS IT SHARED?

We share information we collect from all points of contact within the Meritage organization (including with companies that are corporate affiliates of Meritage) as well as with other Meritage related organizations, such as resellers/sales agents. The information you give us may be combined with other personally identifiable information available from our records and other sources in order to help facilitate communication, marketing, delivery of products and services, and optimization of products and services. We may share information with our service providers (including third party payment processors, e-commerce providers (such as Shopify) or other providers in our supply chain) operating on our behalf to provide services to our customers and users.

We store the information that we collect through cookies, log files, transparent images, and/or third party sources to create a summary of website usage and preferences. We then tie your personally identifiable information, and/or your usage history, to information in the summary, in order to provide tailored promotions and marketing offers, to improve the content of the website for you and others, and/or to determine your preferences.

We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when (1) permitted or required by law, or (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions, or (3) investigating fraud that has already taken place. In all cases, this information is not provided to these entities for marketing purposes.

Should Meritage choose to sell or transfer business assets, or to engage in a transaction where it is required to share or transfer your information, it is possible that the information we possess may be transferred as part of that transaction. Meritage may decide to retain a copy of the information post sale or transfer.

As more fully detailed on the Meritage Web Site, Meritage may allow users to connect or utilize third party services. Each service has its own terms of use, privacy and security policies and your use of any such services is subject to all such third party terms. Certain third party services require premium accounts for enhanced features and it is the user’s sole responsibility with respect to the third party services to meet any third party service requirements. (b) Prices for our Products (along with shipping, handling and taxes) are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Taxes may be adjusted from the amounts shown in checkout depending upon a multitude of factors, including information from our payment processor and/or changes in tax rates. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Products or Services (or any part thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Products and Services. Acceptable forms of payment are specified in the checkout process and are subject to change. Standard shipping is typically via UPS, Federal Express, or the U.S. Postal Service or as otherwise specified in the checkout process. We reserve the right to substitute another carrier of equal or lesser cost to deliver your order. If expedited shipping is required and available as an option in checkout, please select that as your shipping choice. All shipping charges are your responsibility, unless waived by Meritage. Shipping charges will be included on your invoice and can be viewed prior to finalizing your order. The shipping charge shown during the checkout process is subject to verification. Shipping charges are subject to change without notice. All orders are shipped FOB shipping point. Title to products and risk of loss passes from Meritage to you upon shipment and we are not responsible for any shipping delays or problems once the product has been shipped.

(c) Certain Products or Services may be available only through the Meritage Web Site; certain Products and Services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our Products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any Products or Services that we offer. All descriptions of Products are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any Product at any time. Any offer for any Product or Service made on this site is void where prohibited.

(d) We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made through the Meritage Web Site. Use of any third-party content may be conditioned upon terms and conditions as provided, from time to time, by such third-party providers.

You must comply with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations regarding: (i) use of the Meritage Web Site and (ii) release of information to and retrieval of information from the Meritage Web Site.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, costs, liabilities, losses and damages of any kind (including attorneys' fees) resulting from: (i) your use of the Meritage Web Site and/or Products and Services; (ii) your breach of any provision of these Terms of Use; (iii) the illegality, reliability, appropriateness, originality or copyright of any submission to Meritage; and/or (iv) any intentional wrongdoing by you.

You will not have the right to assign or transfer your rights under these Terms of Use to any other person or entity without our prior written consent, which consent may be withheld for any reason or for no reason. Furthermore, you acknowledge and agree that your access to and use of the Meritage Web Site may not be sublicensed or otherwise transferred voluntarily or by operation of law to any third party. Any attempted assignment, license, sublicense or transfer by you, whether voluntary or involuntary, is void and grounds for termination of your rights under these Terms of Use.

ANY CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS CONTRACT, OR THE BREACH THEREOF, SHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION ADMINISTERED BY THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION UNDER ITS COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION RULES, AND JUDGMENT ON THE AWARD RENDERED BY THE ARBITRATOR(S) MAY BE ENTERED IN ANY COURT HAVING JURISDICTION THEREOF.
